Outcomes

This course introduces students to basic concepts that provide the foundation for Domino/Notes. This course is a prerequisite for the "SA Core Curriculum."
Students will install and configure a basic infrastructure with a single domain using an existing deployment plan. Students will also set up mail routing in the single-domain environment.


Prerequisites

Previous system administration experience, and attended the following IBM Lotus Domino 6 end user courses:
Required: Using IBM Lotus Notes 6
Recommended: Maximizing Your Productivity with IBM Lotus Notes 6


What should you be familiar with?

Administrators new to Domino. This course is the point of entry to the entire core SA curriculum.
Initial install and setup of a basic Domino/Notes 6 infrastructure.
Set up of Domino Mail servers in the corporate intranet and extranet (i.e. Internet) environment.
